Yes, the ASIO driver will allow you to configure the input/output modes for Audacity. The Audacity application is highly customizable when it comes to audio and recording modes. Install the driver onto your computer and make sure to run the installation as Administrator, then open Audacity and change the recording modes using the menus under the menu bar.
I have Cubase LE and when I say something on the mic, it doesn't register until 2 or 3 seconds later. How can I get it to register the same time as I say something or hit any note of any kind?

Firstly, in order to fix the issue, navigate to Start, type dxdiag in the Search programs and files field and open the utility. Click the Audio tab, check your sound card model and download and install the latest drivers available from the developer's web page. After that, upgrade Cubase LE to the latest version using the package from the official website. Before downloading the package, you will need to create an account on Steinberg website. If you still have problems, you can check Software Informer database for another similar sound recorder.
I've downloaded Asio4all and installed without problems, however when using it with Cubase, I lose my audio connection. In simple terms, when I plug in my Axe, there is no sound bar and I can't record any live music.

Once the Axe has been plugged in, you need to check the Sound settings. This can be done right clicking the speaker in the system tray. Select Recording devices then choose the Axe as the default one by right clicking it. Once the device has been selected as default, restart any applications that might be using it and begin the recording process.
